Different Hairstrokes For Different Folks

NOT ALL HAIR STROKES ARE CREATED EQUAL, CHOOSE YOUR ARTIST CAREFULLY

Creating natural-looking hair strokes in the eyebrow with micro-pigmentation is truly an art which takes time to perfect.

It’s critical to do proper research when choosing a permanent makeup artist; make sure he/she has had proper training and preferably choose one that is a member of a professional association like PCASA for example.

Permanent makeup artists use many different tools; pigments; techniques and machines at their disposal. These are all factors important to the outcome of the procedure, however; the most important element to consider is actually seeing the artist’s work. This will give you a better perspective of the artistic ability of the artist.

At Schonheit each client is counselled individually; each client’s exciting brow and brow hairs are taken into consideration; each client’s preferences and outcome options are realistically discussed and each client’s eyebrows are designed according to his/her individual facial proportions and desired overall shape.

Schonheit’s goal is to create designs with movement and dimension that not only look natural, but complement and enhance her existing features and appearance.

Below are a few examples of techniques used when designing a natural-looking hair stroked brow ( pictures below are not my work but only used for demonstrative purposes)

TECHNIQUE AND DESIGN

Multidimensional brows

For clients who have very few if any existing brow hair, one technique is to create a lightly coloured powdered brows as a background before microblading hairstrokes. It is best to do this in stages, allowing the client to heal for for 4-6 weeks after the initial powdered brows have been completed. After 4-6 weeks once the color has healed and dried in the skin, movement can be added by microblading multi-coloured and different sized hair strokes.

This approach ensures that the skin is not overworked at the first visit.

Patience on the part of the client and the artist usually always produces the best work AND…you really do get what you pay for.

Microblading/Hairstroke Technique

For clients with spare hair usually the entire hair stoked design can be completed at her initial visit. A follow up visit is essential to add accent strokes and perfect the brow
