Permanent Makeup Aftercare

It is normal for colour to appear very dark and intense directly after any permanent cosmetic procedure. Once the healing process is complete the colour fades and appears more natural.

A touch-up or followup procedure is important to achieve perfection and to ensure that your results last longer. A followup procedure should be done 4 to 12 weeks after your initial procedure; as sooner could cause scarring.

It takes about 3 to 6 days for the outer eye area to heal; 7 to 10 days for the outer lip and brow area to heal and 1 to 2 months for the internal structures and tissue to heal for above mentioned areas. Your final healed results and final colour results can only be decided after about 2 months.

Eyebrow Aftercare

  • NO water, cleansers, creams, makeup or any other products on treated area for 10 days.

  • For the first day only, 4-5 hours after the procedure, clean the area with sterile water and a cotton pad, gauze or q-tip and allow to air dry.

  • Eyebrow area must be kept completely dry for the first 24 hours after which you would start applying your ointment twice daily.

  • For the next three days blot the area lightly if fluid occurs.

  • DO NOT rub, pick or scratch the treated area. Let any scabbing or dry skin naturally exfoliate off. Picking can cause scarring.

  • Do not peel or pick at crust, this could cause pigment loss, scarring, and delayed healing.
